WHAT IS IT?
It is the most sophisticated computer biofeedback program/device developed to this day, able to analyze the human body bio-electrically at a rate of over 93,000,000 bits of information in a few short minutes, AND correct aberrant patterns.
HOW DOES IT DO IT?
1) We have known for a long time that we have electricity running through our bodies. Anybody who has ever bumped an elbow can testify to that. Acupuncture focuses on balancing the flow of that energy (electricity) by inserting needles into specific points along meridians (energy pathways), to move stagnating energy, and/or suppress excesses.
2) Just as each chemical component has a specific chemical signature, each part of the human body has a specific electrical signature. Your liver vibrates at a different rate than your stomach, which vibrates at a different rate than your vertebra, etc. These vibrations can be monitored. We have the EEG (Electro Encephalogram), which records the electrical activity of the brain, the ECG (Electro Cardiogram), which records the electrical activity of the heart, and the EMG (Electro Myogram), which records the electrical activity of the muscles.
Other organs, and organ systems have their own vibrations. Moreover, a healthy organ vibrates differently from an unhealthy one. By comparing the known electrical signature of a healthy liver, for example, to the vibration of someone's liver, it is possible to determine whether that particular liver is healthy, inflamed, or in the process of degenerating, electrically speaking.
Every plant, rock, remedy, toxic substance, vitamin, mineral, enzyme, neurotransmitter, etc, has its own energetic signature. By sending the signature of a substance into the body, it is possible to determine whether that substance is beneficial to the person (or to a specific organ), neutral, or toxic.
Let's move a step further: every thought produces an electrical pattern, a "signature". Joyful thoughts have a different vibration than angry thoughts. This can all be measured!
3) Let's digress for a minute, and talk about how the body communicates with itself. Many years ago, it was thought that nerves were carrying electricity as a way of communication. We know now that body communication is quite a bit more complex. The space between the ending of two nerve cells is called the synapse. In order to send a message from one nerve ending to the next across the synapse, chemicals, called neuro-transmitters, are released. The biological reaction time coming from an external stimuli, such as noise, bee sting, toxic fumes, has been determined to be in the magnitude of 1/100th of a second. The biological reaction time coming from an internal stimuli, such a thoughts, communication between organs, etc, has been determined to be in the magnitude of 1/1000th of a second.
Thanks to the advancement of computer technology, it is now possible to measure the body's reactions at these biological speeds (from 1/100th to 1/1000th of a second).
4) The EPFX/QXCI compares the electrical signatures of over 10,000 different substances (from healthy organs, to potential allergens, to potential remedies, to thought forms), at biological speed. It analyses the body's voltage, amperage, resistance, hydration, oxidation, proton and electron pressure, as well as resonance and reactance to different substances. Over all, it analyses 55 different electrical responses, to over 10,000 substances, at a 1/100th to 1/1000th of a second in a truly double blind way, as neither the practitioner, nor the client, can guess what is being tested at the time. Within minutes, millions of data have been analyzed. The computer then gives its "report", which needs to be analyzed by the health practitioner and the client, to determine the meaning of the information given, and how it relates to the area of concern.
The EPFX/QXCI will then suggest therapies to enhance the electrical pattern of the client, toward a more healthy and balanced body energy.
I'd like to throw in another interesting bit of information, which I gleaned while researching data about the EPFX/QXCI. At the beginning of the century, Max Planck, a mathematician, found that any system working below 10-27 was subject to Newtonian Laws of Thermodynamics and Entropy. It happens that neuro-transmitters work at 10-29, and thus fall under Quantic laws, which are quite different. In Quantum physics, "things" are not repeatable. We do not step into the same river twice. The body is electrically different second after second after second. Since events are not repeatable, so-called controlled studies are futile. In Quantum Physics, small events can make great changes. It is said that the flutter of a butterfly's wings can affect the course of a thunderstorm. Thirdly, in Quantum Physics, the mind of the person involved affects the outcome of the experiment. That's mind over matter, which gives plausible explanations as to why imagery can be so powerful in thwarting the progression of many cancers (and other diseases), as studied by Drs. Carl and Stephanie Simonton. Just thought I'd mention this, as Imagery has played a very important role in shaping my life, and I use it frequently in my practice.
WHO DEVELOPED THE EPFX/QXCI?
A legend in my sight. Prof. William Nelson, an electrical engineer who, at 18, worked on the navigational system of the Apollo program at NASA, developed the EPFX/QXCI. Bill Nelson is also a professor of medicine in Hungary, practicing naturopathy, holding doctorates in Psychology, Science and Law. I would say that Bill Nelson exemplifies the highest degree of intellectual human potential development that I have come across, so far. Although the EPFX/QXCI is new in my hands, it is not an experimental tool any more. Many articles (over 300) have been written in peer reviewed journals. It is used quite extensively in many European and Asian Countries, as well as in Canada, Australia and Africa.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING A SESSION WITH THE QXCI
During your fist session with the EPFX/QXCI, you will be asked several questions, regarding your health habits. A headband will then be placed around your forehead, and bands will be placed around wrists and ankles. You will be asked to relax, as the EPFX/QXCI calibrates and tests you, for about 6 to 8 minutes. After that, the EPFX/QXCI will be put into a therapeutic mode, to help correct aberrant electrical waves. There are many different therapies available through the EPFX/QXCI (close to 200, ranging from electrical acupuncture, to color therapy, to homeopathy, to nutrition, to reflexology, iridology, anti-aging, super-learning, and many biofeedback programs). Doctors (M.D., dentists, veterinarians, psychologists, etc) and therepists will use it in the way that best suits their expertise. Sessions may last from ½ hr to several hours. Some doctors/therapists keep records, some do not. Many variations as to how the EPFX/QXCI device is used will be found.
MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH THE EPFX-QXCI
I was receiving a rolfing session from a therapist friend of mine, who started a conversation about that "science fiction type machine" that a friend of hers had just acquired, and she said "You've got to see it". I was very intrigued, and called her friend, who suggested I have a session with it, to test it for myself. I did. The problem I wanted us to focus on was an allergy I had regarding water. The EPFX/QXCI determined that it seemed to be related to a psychological block I had acquired, during my first days on this planet. Appropriate therapy was suggested and followed. So far, I seem to be able to drink water without the usual nausea. As a side-effect, I experienced a great diminishing in back pain, which I had had for several months.
I realized that the EPFX/QXCI could evaluate clients in minutes, for tests that would take me a year to perform. I was hooked.
Since acquiring the EPFX/QXCI, I worked twice more on my back problem: my muscles have relaxed, and my rib does not pop out of place any longer. Just this morning (5/10/02) I found that I was holding a lot of tension from an emotional trauma. I worked with several therapies, seemingly unsuccessfully, until I found "the one" that dissolved the tension in minutes. I was quite impressed.
I am quite intrigued by its claims at anti-aging properties. Vanity? Maybe. However, there is more to looking younger than just vanity. When one looks younger, one acts younger. Younger usually means healthier. I'd love to have the metabolic rate I used to have in my teens. Regaining my strength would be nice too. I am testing it… I'll let you know…
I cannot believe I wrote this article so many years ago. It's now June 2007. I have used the EPFX/QXCI for over 5 years, and it continues to surprise me. My metabolic rate is definitely younger... not at the teenage level... yet. I have helped people detox their trauma, injuries have healed faster and people enjoy the relaxation they get from the experience. At the request of a colleague of mine, who was leaving the country. I also worked with a woman who wanted breast enhancement: she is happy, her husband is happy, which makes me happy.
